a 354 km wild odyssey. browse the mythical George river, one of the largest in Quebec, extending from labrador to ungava bay, and experience the northern scenery through its sandy bays, islands and unique wildlife.

Discover the manificient River George. This body of water has earned quite a reputation as a salmon fishing zone. This is a 354 km round trip.

Day 1 - You will spend the night at our Hôtel in Schefferville.

Day 2 - You will take the hydroplane to our establishment, Wedge hills lodge where you will stay for the night.

Days 3 to 6 - Early morning, we take off on our journey; 2 freighters boats (22' x 4,5') for 6 persons plus a third one for food and equipment transportation. You will spend 4 days on the length of the river and 3 nights camping and sleeping outdoors in this wonderful setting. You will then return to Schefferville on the 6th day.
